The uneasiness of our cultural system, as Freud explained, is a libido for security. All individuals bleed, some more than others, and it must be hidden in some way, one way or another. As a result, we are never truly uninhibited or naked in society.  Fashion victim is not only a fashion issue, but also a representation of a lack of freedom. We depend and thrive on society, technology, money, power, information, yet we bleed and suffer in silence. Fashion reflects the outward restrictions on how we are suppose to live and be. Fashion Victim by Adriana Lacko is the first work in a series exploring the boundaries of freedom of the (post) human existence.
